VINTAGE SHOPPING--RISING MARKET WITH NEW CLASSICS

Weather is on ebay or etsy, vintage vendors become more and more popular. Off line shopping, the unique vintage stores are also attract certain amount of young trendy fashionistas. As the vintage item lover myself, I simply find vintage shopping is a lot of fun. It is a successful pleasure as if you are digging the gold out of the trash. It is challenging to find the unique piece but also rewarded by those beautiful yet cheap items that you have discovered.

There are some advantages for vintage shopping through: First of all, the item is unique. Nowadays, we have so many fashion labels and a lot of new ones are on the way. The past classic look are become less commercial and more unique.

Second of all, well, we all know that vintage clothing with cashmere and wool or silk are less than 50 dollars deal. With economic crashing down, smart shoppers need to find the alternative ways. Besides, people in the past do have a better taste in clothing, accessories etc. I just simply think vintage item are beautiful with characteristics.

Third of all, for decoration purpose. Many households make their home as vintage looking as possible,it portraits classic, cozy, cute, unique and trendy. Furniture or little funky stuff is still a reasonable price now, who knows in the future.

Vintage shopping also can cause some problems as well. As vintage products are often with all the second hand goods. Sometimes, to clean the item can be a little harsh. I had a friend who purchased a beautiful 60s skirt on second hand store, after wearing about 1 day, she felt a bit itchy. Well, to prevent any kind of bug which often stick around on old stuff, simply seal the newly purchased vintage old goods in a plastic bag for two weeks, and then dry clean or clean them. They should ready to be served.
